If pocket mask is not available, what other barrier device can be used?

When giving mouth to mouth, what else can be used if a pocket mask or other type of barrier device is not available? If pocket mask is not available, what other barrier device can be used?
A piece of Saran Wrap with a hole in it. But if you are too worried about it just do the chest compressions but be sure the airway is clear too.If pocket mask is not available, what other barrier device can be used?
If it were me, I'd use the plastic wrapper from the pocket pack of Kleenex I carry. I'd flatten it out to use it -- it already has a handy slit about the right size.
a piece of tissue works very well for mouth to

mouth breathing or a clean handkerchief can be

used. How ever if you know the victim very well

such as a family member or a close friend you

don't need a barrier of any kind.

When I gave my best friend mouth to mouth

breathing I didn't use a barrier of any kind on her.
The American Heart Association re-did the guidelines for civilian CPR again by upping the number of compressions. Too many people did not want to give mouth to mouth and just stood by without even doing compressions. There is enough residual oxygen in the blood for several minutes though if you are only able to do compressions. Also, it's not as good as mouth to mouth, but if you close the mouth, you can do mouth to nose ventilations. Read up on it before jumping in action... you don't want to aggravate any spinal injury victims.
