Face masks. Is this going too far?

I'm thinking of getting a mask to avoid swine flu, but is it an over reaction likely to frighten pensioners and children? (style as shown below)

I would prefer the style shown in the image, my local NUMARK chemist did not stock this.Face masks. Is this going too far?
I do like your mask but I was thinking of getting one more along the lines of Micheal Myers in Halloween.

Either that or a regular mask teamed up with a Hi-vis coat and a couple of Glo-sticks and then Im ready to rave.Face masks. Is this going too far?
Face mask alone cannot save you. You need to do the following:

1. Washing your hands properly and often ( soap for at least 10 sec.)

2. Wear proper mask ( medical or N95) in a proper way ( both nose and mouth must be covered)

3. Clean you home with beach and water in a ratio of 1:99.

Item 1 and 3 can save you to wear mask in you home during dinner time.

Those were the experience during SARS period. SARS is quite similar to the new H1N1 (swine flu)
Don't eat beans before wearing them, there have been several cases of people fainting.
hmmm well it will have the desired effect in that people will leave a very wide berth around you.
haha i don't think i will ever wear one, not until the UK has a mass outbreak anyway
i think you should get one...

...you could so the slow motion moonwalk to go with your outfit,
Ha!Ha! It's good to know we can still have a laugh in spite of the situation. A sense of humour is essential, well done!!
