As long as only one gateway has DHCP server enabled then just obtain the IP automatically for the DHCP server on each computer. (If more than one router has DHCP enabled then disable it on all routers except the primary).

In Windows

Start--COntrol Panel--Network Connection

Right click the appropriate network adapter (either ethernet or WiFi) then click properties.

Scroll down to TCP/IP and click Properties.

Set both radios to Obtain IP address Automatically and click OK. Click Close.

Start -- Run

cmd

ipconfig /all

Check the IP of the Default Gateway for the appripriate network adapter.

Repeat for all PCs

If the Default Gateway IP is the same then you're all on the same subnet.
