Can i get some info abt input masks in ms-access?

i want to know how to actually use dis feature..i am not able to get it clearly.....help!!!Can i get some info abt input masks in ms-access?
an input mask is a display feature. Let's say you wanted to enter a social security number. You also wanted to display it with the dashes in the correct places (after the third and fifth digits). The INPUT MASK feature allows this. You would put an input mask of 000-00-0000 The 0 means that the expected character is a numeric digit, and that it is required. Another example: A phone number: Area Code and switchboard extension both optional. Start filling from the right. The input mask for something like this would be: !(999)-000-0000x9999

The ! key means to start filling from the right (skip the Area code field), the 0s mean the digits are required, and the 9s mean that the digits are optional. Can i get some info abt input masks in ms-access?
