I'm 20 and I have really big pores, i've tried dry clay masks and pore minimizers but nothing seems to work...

Any suggestions? (By the way, I'm obese, do you think that has something to do with it?)I'm 20 and I have really big pores, i've tried dry clay masks and pore minimizers but nothing seems to work...
Models use toothpaste and Preparation H.....I tried both and both seem to work pretty good although I don't know how good the Prep H would be long termI'm 20 and I have really big pores, i've tried dry clay masks and pore minimizers but nothing seems to work...
Have you tried Kiss my face olive oil soap? it regulates oils in the skin and if the pores dont need to get rid of excess oil then they will close and be small...and LOTS of clean water..also a honey pat will regulate pores and help clean all the bad bacteria out...take about a tsp of honey and pat it on your face after you have washed....and pat it till it is really sticky on you face...rinse with teaped water..then cold...that should help you. You know you dont have to stay obese...I am following a great eating pattern and it is taking off the pounds if you are ready to get rid of it...email if you are and I will spell it out for you...also seaweed soap by riviva.....is also good for large pores....you can get all of these things at vitaglo.com for a good price or your health food stores also only wash with a loofa on the face and dont be afraid to scrub...always close with a cold water splash...If you can also get some regular sea breeze-not the blue stuff and splash your face with a cotton ball full of it at least twice a week..(it also is great when the skin is oily and dirty and you can clean it quickly) and it is refreshing...so there is hope here...
What's been used for a million years is putting Preparation H on your pores....it shrinks swelling, etc.....it really works I hear. No direct experience.
See a dermatolgist.

Pores are determined with genetics, not weight or diet.

Hormones may play a role.

Retin-A will shrink pores over time and keep the skin cells turning over so they don't get clogged. Ask for samples and use it every night as directed, starting three times a week, then working up to nightly. Expect redness and peeling. Wear sunscreen.

Your doctor or dermatologist can help you, but you can buy some retin-A products at the drug store. Check it out.
First, I am obese as well and it may be a hormone imbalance...check with your doctor, this is important...

About the pores...my favorite thing is what I make myself. I add chamomile (a chamomile tea packet) and a few rose petals (not chemically sprayed) to a bottle of witch hazel. You can use plain witch hazel you get at any store. I like adding the extra ingredients because I like them. I use this everyday as an astringent after washing my face, and sometimes several times a day especially in summer when I'm sweaty etc.,

Also, if you have a pimple just put a cotton ball with witch hazel on it and leave on for a few minutes and it will decrease the life of the pimple and help it go away.

This is the only thing that I have found that doesn't kill my sensitive skin... I wish you luck!
